- Poker - Fire, Iron, Circa 1930. Used at mental health hospital Mayday Hills, Beechworth, Victoria, Australia. Probably made in the blacksmith's shop at the Hospital. Wards in the Hospital were heated by open fires.
- Description:
- Forged iron poker consisting of a rod of iron twisted into a loop and hammered at one end and tapered into a point at the other. Blackened finish has been covered with rust.
