I have a gold pocket watch marked "Waltham"
on the face with back minute numbers and small red minute numbers plus a small seconds dial. A jeweler thought is was a 1895 watch but it does not look like the watch on the internet. What is your opinion? Thank you, Paul.

I found a old watch in my grandfather's things.It is a gold, 3 panel, hunter case,reg.time and 24 hour dial.No name on the watch face.On the inside of front panel is 2 hallmarks:crown in a circle,star in a circle. with the word mono under.The only name is on the three quarter plate:L.Auer of frankfurt a/M. With the # 181610 with the letters ID under. dose any body know any thing about this watch. who made it? Where it was made?
